I'll make sure to say hello next time. I see so much of Coach at school and after school that I admit I don't always head his direction when it's not time for practice. Is he the one who sent you out for groceries?

Yes, he is. I'm afraid I'm not that much of a cook, but at least we have a system. I clean up the dishes when we're done.

I'd rather cook than wash dishes any day, so I think you're doing at least your share of the work.

Were there any other requests for this particular meal?

No...I can't think of anything, but I'm open to any suggestions you have.

If you've got the meal figured out, how about dessert? I'm sure we could come up with something pretty simple.

Hm. I hadn't thought of that. What ideas do you have?

Cookies aren't hard. Butter, flour, powdered sugar, and if you have any to spare, some vanilla or ground tea leaves or a spice or two. Mix them, roll them up in a log shape, slice, and bake until they brown a little around the edges. I could write down the ingredients and measurements.
