The idea of forgetting people he's met, whole months of his life, still doesn't sit well with Chouji. It wouldn't with anyone; he remembers the tension he heard in Sakura's voice and assumes that part of it is due to those gaps. Troublesome mission briefing to catch up is right. He just isn't sure whether it will be more troublesome for Shikamaru or for him.
