I'll certainly do my best. The past month has been... really good. [Financial worries, as much on his friends' behalf as his own, and Makie's health are the only things that have marred it, actually. Personally, Chouji is very satisfied with his life right now.]

Pepsi's great, thanks. Sit down and eat dinner with me. [Leading by example, Chouji sits down and starts in on his own food.]

Sitting, sitting. [She pours herself a glass of water, sliding into the chair opposite.] Thank you, Chouji. This... does make things easier tonight. Gives me more time to relax.

You're welcome! You should take the time, and it's no trouble. It was my turn to cook anyway. [Because he declares it his turn to cook at his brother's house as often as possible without offending anyone, but that's beside the point. Chouji's desire to thank his family for looking after him isn't going to change.

Makie's just been adopted. Family of a friend close enough to be family, she becomes family herself.]

Rest is good, but have you been getting bored spending most of your time at home? [Shikamaru's been working a lot lately, so she might not have had much company. And Chouji knows Makie enjoyed her job.]

Mm, it can get dull. I'm looking up new hobbies to try. So far, nooot having much luck. [She grins.] Though this week I've had quite a few visitors. It's been fun.

What sort of hobbies have you been considering? I probably won't be much help to you, though, considering mine are just cooking and football.

Hmm, well I won't say that. I benefit from your cooking, after all.

There's precious little to try that I can really do. Though you know, it's tempting to take a road trip or two and take some photos. That sounds nice. [And small risk of infecting people.]

Photography would be a great hobby! [There's the matter of staying within range of her son and doctors, but as long as it's not too long a road trip...] Do you have a camera already? What do you like taking pictures of?

I do! I picked it up for school. [She harassed the students at graduation all the time with it >_>] And you know, I'm not sure yet. Mostly I take them of people, but it'd be nice to go and see some pretty places. Then I could say I've seen them, at least.

That sounds really nice. What kinds of places do you like best? I'm pretty simple. I like the farm, and anywhere with trees.

I like both of those, too. But you know, I think it might be nice to see the ocean.
